Easy Summer Pool Party for Kids!

Summer isn’t over yet! I don’t know about you, but I’m going to hold onto it until the very end! No pumpkin lattes until October please. Even if your kids are back in school like mine, the weather definitely feels like summer! The pools are still open, so why not throw together a super easy pool party for your kids and their friends?! Add a few Lime–A-Ritas and the adults will enjoy this poolside get together as well!

The great thing about a pool party is that the pool is the entertainment! Kids can swim and play games for hours without any Pinterest arts, crafts, and games! Pool rings are inexpensive and colorful and kids, no matter their age, love them. I found these as a three pack in bright summer colors.

I also purchased these giant beach balls in the same bright colors. Your guests will love them! They are perfect for a game of volleyball in or out of the pool. The kids will love trying to float on them and falling off with a splash! You can also pick up dive rings, water guns, pool noodles, any number of pool toys.

I love that these cupcakes take that pool theme beyond the icing! You can purchase aqua cupcake mix at your local grocery store and it’s quick and easy and the perfect pool blue color. Your guests will be surprised to find this treat is blue on the inside too!

Turquoise food color gives icing the perfect pool color. I used a smooth piping tip to create the look of moving water. Next slide Teddy Grahams into Lifesaver Gummies and simply place on top. They look like they are floating in a nice cool pool! Tip: put floating bears together and place on cupcakes right before serving to avoid softening and crumbling of the Teddy Grahams.
