Easter is a holiday of renewal. Spring is the season of new beginnings. I love the colors of this time of year! There are so many pretty hues that mark the end of winter and the beginning of warmer weather. I love pink and yellow together! It reminds me of flowers and sunshine. The colors really steal the show and with a touch of bunnies and flowers, it really feels brings the holiday and the season!
Pretty pink cupcakes and bunnies! What else do you need?! The cupcake holders remind me of pretty pink flowers. I love the sweet and natural look of the bunnies. Together they really bring the feel of Easter. I chose a white cake to keep the look and taste light.
I love the contrast of pink and yellow! The bright, sunny yellow icing is beautiful with the pink flower topper and cupcake holder.
Spring is really all about the flowers! I love the small pink budding roses next to the wide, bright yellow of the daisies. This is definitely the essence of spring and renewal of Easter.
I love a dessert in a jar! I chose a white chocolate mousse with a smooth and airy texture. With a little food color, it really comes to life and brings the look of spring!
If you’ve read my previous party posts, you know I love to shop the specialty food section at Home Goods. I found these delicate macarons in the perfect shades of pink and yellow! They really are sophisticated cookies that add beauty to any dessert table.
Candy jars! I love candy jars! Check out my previous post, for a tutorial to make your own mason jar candy pedestals! I filled them with Cadbury mini eggs (which I love and have to have every Easter) and merengues that I also picked up at Home Goods. The colors of these candies work perfectly with this display.
You can’t help but feel happy with these colors! Flowers, bunnies, desserts, candies! This is Easter and the beginning of the spring season. Happy Easter!
