If you’re looking for a yummy, festive dessert for St. Patrick’s Day, this is definitely the one! This Irish Cream spiked mousse is so easy and tastes amazing!
This dessert requires just a few ingredients. You’ll need chocolate chips, I like to use dark chocolate 🍫 You’ll also need heavy whipping cream and vanilla. Most importantly you need Irish Cream, which is the star of this St. Patrick’s Day dessert. I went with the classic Baileys Irish Cream.
To make this yummy mousse, you’ll start by placing your chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl and heating them up for 30 seconds at a time, stirring as you go until they are completely melted. Next you will begin mixing your whipping cream until it starts to form small peaks. Then you will add your vanilla and Irish Cream. Slowly add your chocolate to the cream and mix again until it forms soft peaks. Place in dessert dishes and serve right away or refrigerate. You can top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings if you like. That’s it!

Irish Cream Chocolate Mousse
Ingredients
- 2 cups Dark Chocolate Chips
- 2 cups Heavy Whipping Cream
- 2 Tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1/3 Cup Irish Cream
Instructions
- Place chocolate chips in microwave safe bowl and heat 30 seconds at a time, stirring each time, until melted
- Mix whipping cream until forms soft peaks
- Add vanilla and Irish Cream to whipping cream
- Slowly add melted chocolate to cream and mix until soft peaks form
- Place in dessert dishes and serve right away or refrigerate
