I love love love this! A popcorn bar is super fun, easy, and can be used as part of just about any party you’re planning! I love the turquoise and silver together. The colors are bright and pretty and just looks happy! You could choose any colors to pull your table together and coordinate with the party you’re hosting. I love to use a chalkboard sign. It’s definitely cute, but it’s also functional. It welcomes guests to join the party and make themselves at home and gives them the go ahead to jump right in and enjoy!
A popcorn bar requires cute, old fashioned popcorn buckets! I picked these up at Target. I like that they are plastic and reusable. I also love that they are turquoise, which is a pretty twist on the classic red and white popcorn bucket. You can find them in many colors, which makes it simple to use them with your theme and your party colors. You will also need a large container for serving popcorn. I used a metal beverage container, which worked perfectly! I picked up a large scoop from a local store called the Cook’s Nook.
Next up, popcorn extras! This is where you can get creative. If you’re planning a movie night party, a popcorn bar is perfect! For a winter movie night, pair your popcorn bar with the hot chocolate bar from one of my previous posts, for a fun and simple party to together. You can choose candy, like Twizzlers and Junior mints to give your guests a real movie theater experience. Something chocolate is a must! I chose M&M’s, always a crowd favorite.
For something fruity and sour, a bowl of sour gummy bears are a good option. They are bite size and kids love them!
Everyone loves crunchy and salty, a big bowl of pretzels was a big hit! Popcorn and pretzels go great together!
