Ain’t no party like a Tailgate Party! There’s a reason they make these t-shirts! Maybe you’ve heard the song “Parking Lot Party” by Lee Brice? Who doesn’t love to Tailgate?! It’s the best way to pre-game before the big game or in this case, a concert. I love love love Jason Aldean! I’ve seen him 7 or 8 times! There is a great venue in Raleigh, NC. It’s a large amphitheater and there is nothing better than seeing a concert outside in late summer. Although I do love seeing Jason, the best part is the parking lot party before the show! Tailgate parties are a laid back kind of fun with old and new friends.
I love the purple, orange, and magenta for a late summer not quite Fall party! The colors are bright and fun, perfect for this party! It’s a little touch of Fall and yet still hanging on to the last bit of Summer. If your tailgate get together is a pre-game celebration, add your school colors and your guests will be pumped for kick-off!
A tailgate party is all about the food! To go along with sandwich fixins, I chose a couple of simple dips that travel easily and taste amazing. I found these cute bowls with matching lids that are both functional and colorful.
While searching for a tailgate party dip, I came across “Crack Dip” from An Affair from the Heart. How could it not be the perfect dip for the occasion?! It is fantastic! It has a Mexican flair and with the amount of jalapenos I use, a definite kick. It’s super simple to throw together and the flavors get better if refrigerated overnight, which is perfect if you’re getting on the road early and want to make it a day ahead. Serve this dip with your favorite tortilla chips. Everyone will love it!
So this dip is unlike any dip I typically make for a tailgate, but when I saw this Everything Bagel dip from Snacks and Sips I had to try it. I love an everything bagel and I had no idea there was such a thing as everything bagel seasoning! How did I not know about this?! This dip was a huge hit! I will warn you, it’s addictive! IT. IS. SO. GOOD. The pretzel crips go with it perfectly. Eat it for breakfast the next morning! I mean it tastes like a bagel, right?!
I love a tailgate dessert! It’s absolutely necessary that it’s easy to pick up and doesn’t require a fork or spoon. These Snickers Bar Blondies meet all of the requirements. They are so yummy and have chunks of Snickers candy in every bite!
My good friend Jennifer made these brownies and they were so good! They were perfectly fudgy and no utensil required. Another perfect tailgate dessert!
Ok so maybe most people don’t have paper lanterns as part of their tailgate, but they do add pretty pops of color against the parking lot gravel and SUV backdrop. Who knew a tailgate tent could serve as the perfect way to hang party decorations?! Ain’t no party like a tailgate party!
