Now that Easter is over, I was looking for a fresh, bright look to take us through the remainder of spring and into summer. Orange is my favorite color and I use it throughout our house and from one season to the next. It’s such a bright and happy color so I guess that’s why a gravitate to it! You can take this same concept and pull in any spring colors you like.
I started with this pretty wooden tray with white accents. I love the floral design and the light color of the wood. It definitely gives it a warm weather look. I picked this tray up at Tuesday Morning. They always have a nice selection of trays and platters. I picked up the glass jars and flowers at our local craft store for a few dollars. I then mixed in pillar and 3-wick jar candles. To add varying heights, I used a cupcake stand and a taller candle stand. Once I had everything in place, I spread moss throughout the bottom of the tray. I found the moss at JOANN Fabrics and Crafts.
I love the way this look comes together! I really like the way the orange and green contrast with the white of the candle stands. The light wood tray along with the wood and gold metal of the candle jar ground the entire piece and works well with the dark wood of the table. To finish the look, I used a burlap table runner that mixes both a natural color with the orange and brings the entire centerpiece together on this spring table!
