When youāre inviting family and friends to a party, you want to be able to spend time catching up, not playing bartender, right?! Hereās an idea to make your next summer get together super fun and easy to host! This pre-party setup is not only summer perfection, but will allow your guests to make their own Caribbean cocktail!
First up, we need ingredients. For this party, guests will be sipping on a Mai Tai or three! The fruit and coconut flavors will have everyone feeling the summer vibes! I love that the recipe is simple to throw together with simple ingredients.
Is there anything more tropical than Malibu with that yummy coconut liqueur?! Combine that with Captain Morgan Spiced Rum and you canāt go wrong!
What are we adding to our liquors…orange and pineapple juices, of course!
Pick up some grenadine at your local grocery store for your last mix ingredient. It will add another dimension of flavor and give your cocktails that pretty variation in color!
Now that your ingredients are all combined and ready to serve, you need some pretty fruit garnish! All you need is a pineapple and a few oranges and youāre all set to slice and serve!
Your guests are set to arrive soon! No worries! Because this cocktail is so simple to put together, you simply poured your ingredients into your serving jar or pitcher, mixed and now youāre ready to put it on the cocktail bar!
Letās start setting up! Display your precut pineapple triangles on a simple serving platter. Pretty toothpicks will make picking up easy for your guests!
Orange slices are up next. They look so pretty displayed on a small cake stand and adds depth to your bar display.
Who doesnāt love maraschino cherries?! They add that red pop of color and really make a drink feel tropical š
Bright and colorful straws are not only pretty, but functional for drinking a tall Mai Tai!
Our last drink accessory is of course the paper umbrella! Nothing says Caribbean cocktail like a colorful umbrella. They come in so many pretty colors and look fantastic on our bar!
Our finished product! It doesnāt get more tropical that this! Yum!
Add a chalkboard sign to let everyone know what your signature drink of the evening is! I love how that small addition really ties the whole table together!
There it is! With a little preparation and the pretty, bright colors you have a beautiful bar that is completely self service! Your guests will have fun putting their tropical cocktails together and you can sit back and have fun with your friends and family! Happy sipping!
